Creativity, strategy, and a strong sense of connection are at the heart of everything Betsy brings to Foster & Motley. With a passion for meaningful communication and a love of brand-building, she thrives in environments where storytelling meets strategic planning, making marketing at Foster & Motley an ideal match for her values and skillset.
Since joining Foster & Motley in 2013, Betsy has grown alongside the firm, moving from client service and event planning roles into her current position as Director of Marketing & Communications. In this role, she leads the firm’s overall marketing strategy, produces Foster & Motley: A Podcast About Wealth & Life, and collaborates with internal and external partners to bring the brand to life. Her efforts have contributed to increased visibility, stronger client engagement, and consistent brand growth.
Betsy’s path to marketing was not a straight line, which is one of her greatest strengths. After spending several years as an administrative professional, she made the intentional pivot into marketing, building on her strong organizational foundation with creative thinking, strategic insight, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping others connect with ideas and experiences. She earned her Master of Science in Marketing from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary to further her marketing education, adding to a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from Northern Kentucky University.
In addition to her work at Foster & Motley, Betsy is deeply involved in the local marketing community. She currently serves as President of the American Marketing Association’s Cincinnati Chapter, where she works to support and connect marketers across the region.
When she’s not strategizing or storytelling, Betsy finds enjoyment in traveling near and far. Her recent trips include DC, Ireland, England, and Italy. Time with friends and family is also high on her list of priorities, and she believes that great communication, in any setting, is the foundation of a meaningful connection.
