Megan distinctly remembers trying to select the investments in her first 401(k) plan and feeling overwhelmed by all the various options – a true case of paralysis by analysis. After overcoming her overwhelm and researching the best option, she became a personal finance nerd. After spending so much time and energy learning about personal finance for her own benefit, Megan now directs that passion towards helping others better understand and manage their finances.
A career changer, Megan spent seven years in Contract and Supply Chain Management at GE Aviation but always knew her interests lay outside of the aviation industry. When the opportunity arose to switch industries, she jumped at the chance. Megan is excited to be at Foster & Motley, a firm that, from the first interview, she believed to prioritize clients’ well-being and experience
Megan is currently studying for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) exam and is enjoying putting her learning into practice as an associate on the financial planning team.
When not studying or working, you can find Megan with her husband, Kemp, and their two young sons. Her husband likes to say she’s a “hobby collector;” she bounces around between running, gardening, baking, woodworking, watercolor painting, and more.
