For more than twenty years, our clients have seen growth and prosperity, and 2019 is no outlier.  Clients have met retirement goals, funded their children’s educations, enjoyed life-changing vacations all over the world, fulfilled career goals, and much more.  We are fortunate to be a partner to that progress and never take for granted the trust you have placed in us as your advisors.

Foster & Motley has seen success for our clients, as well as our employees, and our business.  Since Mark Motley and Dave Foster began, they have added quality, highly experienced team members including Paul Staubach, who has been with the firm for over 19 years.  Paul, in addition to his client responsibilities, has served as CEO and CFO for the past four years while Mark continues to serve as Chairman of the Board.  Under Paul’s tenure as CEO, we have brought on 4 new employees, 3 new shareholders, grown to over 600 clients, and manage over $1.4 billion in assets.

Our growth has been meaningful and sustainable, allowing us to add great people and resources to better serve our clients while expanding our capacity to serve more individuals and families with their wealth management needs.  As such, we are pleased to announce updates to the management structure of our firm as we continue to grow.  Paul Staubach has elected to shift responsibilities from his former role as CEO and President of the Board to focus on financial management of the firm as CFO and Treasurer of the Board.  Zach Horn, who has been with Foster & Motley for 12 years serving as part of the Investment Management Team, has been appointed by the firm’s Board of Directors to the position of Managing Partner and President of the Board.  Mark Motley maintains his position as Chairman of the Board.  Both Zach and Mark continue in their primary roles to serve clients as Investment Managers, and Paul serves as a Financial Planner.

Zach Horn has been a shareholder for five years and involved with management of the firm for the last several years.  He most recently served as Head of the Investment Management Team prior to becoming Managing Partner.  Zach has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio University as well as an MBA in finance from Xavier University.  He holds the CFP® and CMFC designations.  He is a Director for the OHIO Alumni Association board and a member of Rotary International.

As fiduciaries, we continue to put our clients first in all that we do, and prudent management of our business combined with broad ownership and a deep, talented team will allow us to provide the highest level of advice and service to you and your family now and into the future.

We thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Sincerely,

Foster & Motley’s Board of Directors
