Andrew Montanus has quickly made a mark as a diligent and curious professional in his role at Foster & Motley. Andrew earned his degree cum laude in Finance with a minor in Business Analytics from Ohio State University in May 2024, which included an internship within the firm. His academic journey was complemented by his active involvement in the Undergraduate Finance Association, where he deepened his understanding of financial principles.
During his internship at Foster & Motley, Andrew gained hands-on experience working with the investment management and financial planning teams, laying the groundwork for his current role. His hardworking nature and interest in financial management are evident in his dedication to helping clients achieve their financial goals. He works closely with the investment management team, conducting research on investment opportunities, analyzing portfolios, and supporting the firm's investment process.
Andrew has passed the CFA Level I exam and is currently studying for Level II in pursuit of the CFA charter, further strengthening his commitment to advancing his expertise in investment management.
Outside of work, Andrew is an enthusiastic fan of Ohio State football, the Bengals, and the Reds. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and attending sports games and live music events. Since returning to Cincinnati, he has been actively exploring and appreciating all the city has to offer.
