Curiosity, creativity, and adaptability are qualities that characterize August Gravatte and her approach to the Client Service Specialist role. August values being part of the Client Service Team that shares her dedication to service and learning, making Foster & Motley a perfect match.

After earning her degree in communications and photojournalism from Western Kentucky University in 2019, she relocated to Lexington, Ky, where she took on the role of creative director and photographer for Lexair Inc., an industrial manufacturing corporation. This experience allowed her to hone her creative skills and further develop her ability to quickly adapt to new industry challenges.

In 2022, August and her husband relocated to Covington, Ky, where she pivoted careers and embraced her passion for connecting with people as store manager and barista for Deeper Roots Coffee, a local coffee roaster. Her time in the hospitality industry deepened her appreciation for meaningful interactions and community building, which brings a people-first perspective to her role at Foster & Motley.

Joining the firm in 2024 as a Client Service Associate, August combined her diverse background and enthusiasm for learning to deliver exceptional support to clients and the F&M team. She is driven by a desire to serve others and create positive experiences in every interaction, embodying the values that guide her, which led to her promotion to Client Service Specialist in 2026.

During her time outside of work, August enjoys pursuing her many interests, including film photography, tending to the community garden, sipping cappuccinos at local coffee shops, and spending time with her family and friends.
