Avery Kraus has been drawn to a career in wealth management ever since taking a personal finance course in high school. In college he helped found the Mount St. Joseph Student Investment Fund with the goal of helping his peers learn more about portfolio management and investments. He now brings that same drive to developing meaningful client relationships and creating personalized financial plans that support client’s unique goals.
Avery joined Foster & Motley as an intern in May of 2025, working with both the Investment Management and Financial Planning teams. He transitioned to supporting only the Investment Management team for 6 months but is now back on the Financial Planning team as he finishes his third internship with the firm and will begin working as an Associate Financial Planner in January of 2027.
Avery’s educational path has been unique; he started taking college classes at the University of Cincinnati when he was a junior at Wyoming High School. When he graduated from high school, he had completed 20 college classes. He entered Mount St. Joseph University already classified as a junior and is on track to graduate in under 2.5 years.
Outside of work, Avery is an avid tennis player. He’s been playing since the age of 8 and can often be found playing for fun with friends or on the club team at Queen City Racquet Club in Sharonville. When he isn’t on the court, he enjoys running and playing golf. He can’t wait for next year’s F&M Flying Pig relay team!
