Thoughtfulness, energy, and focus are the qualities clients and colleagues most often use to describe Rachel, and they show up in every aspect of her life. She takes great pride in what she does — from work to giving back to the community to investing in those around her. Partnering with individuals, families, and organizations to steward wealth thoughtfully across generations, grounded in the belief that true wealth extends beyond portfolios to a life of clarity, comfort, and purpose, is what drives Rachel.
Prior to joining Foster & Motley in 2014, Rachel worked with an independent registered investment advisor in New Jersey, supporting portfolio managers through investment research and security selection. She earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2017 and later her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation, enhancing her ability to guide clients through both long-term planning and pivotal moments of change. Her dedication to her career and to Foster & Motley led her to become a shareholder in 2019. In recognition of her professional leadership and community involvement, Rachel was named a 40 Under 40 honoree by the Cincinnati Business Courier.
With more than a decade of experience in wealth management, Rachel advises clients on portfolio construction, long-term investment strategy, and financially complex life transitions. She is an active member of Foster & Motley’s Investment Committee, contributing to firm-wide investment strategy and oversight. While disciplined and thoughtful in her approach, Rachel brings genuine energy and warmth to client relationships by focusing on the person and not the portfolio.
Rachel is deeply engaged in the Cincinnati community and currently serves as Chair of the Finance Committee with Impact 100. She is also active with the Talbert House Foundation Board, the CFA Society of Cincinnati, and served previously as President of the Cincinnati Estate Planning Council. Whether she is doing professional and volunteer work, Rachel is committed to thoughtful governance, fiduciary responsibility, and strengthening the organizations she supports.
Rachel lives in Kings Mills with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Leila and Owen, and their dog, an Australian Sheperd named Cru. Outside of work, Rachel is energized by experiences — be it on the golf course, traveling, exploring art, practicing French, or seeking out new adventures. Naturally curious and people-oriented, she brings that same enthusiasm, openness, and care into her work with clients.
