The Financial Times has once again named Foster & Motley in the Top 300 RIAs! The FT 300 assesses registered investment advisers on desirable traits for investors.

Areas of consideration for inclusion in the list include assets under management, asset growth, company’s age, industry certifications of key employees, SEC compliance record, and online accessibility.

 Employment Opportunity
We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Client Service Specialist (Administrative Assistant).  The position entails assisting with client-related financial planning and investment management activities, including interacting directly with clients (primarily by email & phone) to respond to their questions and administrative needs, while exercising a high degree of confidentiality and initiative.  For more information, please click here. 
 
 F&M Learns

Our Chief Compliance Officer, Larry Bernhard, attended the Securities & Exchange Commission’s (SEC) compliance outreach program seminar in Chicago on June 13th.  The seminar is designed to assist CCOs with enhancing compliance programs and reviews current topics in investment management regulation.
 

Luke Hail attended the “Inside Retirement” conference in Dallas TX May 11-12.  While there, he learned more about different tools to model retirement spending, reverse mortgages and minimizing taxation on IRA withdrawals.  He also got to meet Heather Abbott, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing.
 

Rachel Rasmussen attended the Women Adviser Summit in Chicago on April 26th.  She learned about developing techniques for protecting aging clients, communication strategies to bridge generation gaps, and how to engage, retain, and serve female clients. 
   
Employee Spotlight 
We are pleased to announce the addition of Niki Williams, Trader/ Investment Analyst, to the Foster & Motley team!  Niki comes to us with experience in client service from Fund Evaluation Group.  Welcome Niki! 
 
   Brad Soper recently completed the Montgomery Citizen’s Leadership Academy where he gained hands-on experience in issues that are important to the community.   
 
The F&M Family Grows

Miles Owen was born on April 30th at 6 lbs 6 oz to proud parents Zach and Lindsay Horn.  Big brother, Zion, is very excited!
 
Dave and Moreen Nienaber welcomed their fifth child, Caroline Grace, on May 13th.  Caroline weighed 5 lbs 14 oz. and shares a birthday with Dave!
 
 F&M Outings
The F&M team had fun team-building at Little Miami Golf Center and tried out a new sport, lawn bowling.  For more info about the game and Cincinnati’s club, check out lawnbowling.org.

Several team members enjoyed participating in the Flying Pig Marathon events in May.  Betsy Wolking, Megan Leslie, Jen Weaver, and Rachel Rasmussen ran the 4-person relay, and Beth Green ran the half marathon.
 
 Anniversary Celebrations
