Ryan English spoke with Steve Watkins of the Cincinnati Business Courier about Kroger's deal with Ocado. Here is an excerpt from the story:
Ryan English, an investment manager at Sycamore Township-based investment advisory firm Foster & Motley, put it on par with Kroger’s deal more than a decade ago that resulted in its 84.51 data analytics subsidiary that’s the envy of the industry.
“I think it’s a great move by Kroger,” English told me. “It reminds me of the Dunnhumby deal that gave Kroger a huge leg up in customer analytics. I’m glad to see Kroger adding another dimension to their e-commerce playbook.”
