For Joanna, a career in wealth management is driven by both curiosity and purpose—the desire to understand the “why” behind financial decisions and the opportunity to help clients navigate them with confidence. She brings a detail-oriented and analytical mindset to her role, with a strong focus on precision and consistency in portfolio execution.
Joanna joined Foster & Motley in 2026 with a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience in investment analysis and financial planning. She earned her Master of Science in Finance from the University of Kentucky, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, and previously received her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Eastern Kentucky University, where she was the youngest graduate in her class. She holds her SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses and is currently working towards earning the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
As a Portfolio Rebalancing Associate, Joanna plays a key role in supporting the firm’s investment management process. She is responsible for portfolio rebalancing, maintaining alignment with client investment strategies, and ensuring accuracy across accounts. Her background includes portfolio analysis, financial modeling, and data-driven reporting, allowing her to contribute to efficient portfolio management and informed decision-making across the investment team.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys traveling to new destinations and has a passion for scuba diving, always seeking out her next underwater adventure. She also loves trying new restaurants and discovering local food spots wherever she goes.
